NOTICE: Beginning April 3, 2017, Fire Permits will be processed through EnerGov. Click here to learn more about the impact and benefits of this new system.
Print submittals shall be submitted as follows:
The contact person will be notified upon completion of the plan review.
A copy of the permit shall be kept on site and presented to the Fire Department upon request. Failure to have this permit, approved plans and the plan review summary from the Fire Marshal's Office will constitute working without a permit.
Permit fees shall be paid in full at time of submittal.
Three (3) sets of plans and one (1) submittal/specification book and fire alarm or sprinkler hydraulic calculations will be required.
Work on any job requiring a permit, prior to the issuance of a permit, will result in a stop-work order and fine that must be paid prior to the releasing of a permit, or prior to any inspections being performed.
The Allen Fire Department is now accepting plan submittals via electronic format. Please see the CAD Submittal Policy for more information.
The Fire Department is now accepting credit cards (Mastercard and Visa) as forms of payment for permit and inspection fees.
