The Allen Fire Marshal's Office issues permits, conducts hazard inspections and provides services to builders and developers, including plan review, environmental site assessments, permits and life safety systems inspections. Allen's Fire Marshal is responsible for developing, maintaining and enforcing the Fire Code.
International Fire Code amendments
Effective July 1, 2022 , the City of Allen adopted the 2021 International Fire Code. All permits submitted on or after July 1, 2022 must adhere to the new code and local amendments. View new code and local amendments.
